88 pulsar XE.. no power and its pissing me off

options?

CA18de(t), easy drop but FWD transmission SUPER difficult to find

SR20de(t), not so easy to drop in, need to do some custom mount jobs which will take time and more money but parts are ready and easy to obtain, + to have in a FWD car such as the pulsar, it is difficult to fit

GA16de??? any thoughts? got 115hp roughly... a lot more than the e16i... NA (which i like) newer engine so keeps emissions down. MPG should be better? will it fit in the pulsar? how similar are the mount points?

if you guys got other realistic engine ideas.. shot them my way...

no dude, i got a ga16 in my car and its slow as all get out..truthfully from stock its like 90 some hp..it sucks...but if mpg is in your mind, it gets great gas. jus sayin its super slow

Forced induction on the factory engine is ALWAYS an option as well.
