Hello, I'm new here and I need help on my 93 S13. Just bought it not too long ago and I was able to drive it for about a week until the 93 KA24DE engine blew. So I purchased a 95 KA24DE engine, changed the distributor and intake manifold and slapped it in the car with all the connectors, lines, etc. back where they were. Also replaced the timing belts and fixed the timing with a help from a friend. Long story short, I tried to start the car, it does crank but it won't turn over ): So we checked if a spark was being produced but we didn't see no spark. Also, we noticed that the fuel pump is not working properly. Correct me if I'm wrong but when your turn your key to "on" position, doesn't the fuel pump make sort of like a bubbly sound? I don't know much about cars that's why I'm asking for help here and this forum seems reliable and promising. It's really frustrating and it's giving me a headache. If anybody has any ideas, possible solutions, or even questions please let me know.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!

You say the car will crank but it won't turn over(?). I think you mean the car will crank but it won't fire. Obviously if it cranks it's turning over. If it's not getting a spark that's a problem, and yes, you generally here kind of a humming sound when you turn the key "on" position. That's the fuel pump turning on. If you don't have a spark and the fuel pump is not coming on then that is where you start looking.

Sorry for the confusion. I was hoping you could kinda give me a general idea of what to check for or what to do.
