I just bought a black on black 2002 Infiniti Qx4 with 107000 miles on it a few days ago for $11,300. Would you guys consider that a good deal? Anyways I am looking for recommendations in the Chicago area preferably in the north suburbs but willing to travel in the immediate vicinity for a knowledgeable and experienced but affordable Nissan/Infiniti mechanic for my truck.

I am a little concerned about the cost of servicing and repairing my vehicle. Would it be advisable to get an extended warranty from Infinity considering the mleage I quoted above?

update can anybody in chicago give me a good referral. Also is 11300 a good price for the 2002 qx4 with 107700 miles on it? I have had it six months and have had no problems with it at all except for poor mileage. I was told not to play burned cd's on my cd changer but tried it anyway and have had no problems with it except during winter mornings when its damp and the player occ. skips. This gets resolved once the condensation evaporates.

It is recommended that we use only premium gasoline on qx4s? Has anybody tried using a lower grade gas on this truck and if so where there any adverse effects.

Not sure if I want to tackle tune up or not. Anyone bring their Pathfinder or QX4 to them?
