In need of help!!! Throttle cleaning Advice!!!

HI guys im in desperated need of cleaning my throttle and dont know what chemical would be good for it so I dont harm it, a guy told me yesterday to use some carb and choke cleaner but I dont know, can someone explain and give me a good advice on how to 'step by step' clean my throttle very good ??

get a brush. brake, carb. cleaner. 2 ways you could do it, with the car running or off. spray into the throttle brush the nasty area and it should clean rather easy.if you do it while the car is on make sure it dont die out on you. if it dies just leave it be and finish cleaning it. let the car sit for a while. When you go and start your car up it's gonna take a while so dont worry.
