With 166k miles on the clock, my 2001 QX4 is still solid as a rock. Just replaced the front struts, strut mounts and rear shocks with KYB GR2's. The back shocks were super easy, taking only 20 minutes per side. I left the front struts and mounts to a pro. New hawk pads on and ready to roll for another 100k miles. Been looking around at replacing the QX4 but she's been so reliable. Only complaint is the terrible gas mileage.

looks very clean for having 166k miles, I guess its true that if you take care of something it'll last longer, thats why I clean my truck inside and out every weekend pretty much, I want it to last.

Thanks for the compliments!

The HU is a double din eclipse with DVD and Nav. The interface/software of the Eclipse is the same as the OEM toyota nav systems.

i really want to get that HU. its $400 at sonicelectronix.com and i dont know how long that deal will last...

i noticed a feature on the 01+'s that i forgot about...rear heated seats!!1

my god man i seriously want to trade in my 99.5 for a last gen q...but its been so damn good to me id hate to get screwed over. plus the extra $3-4k id have to spedn to upgrade to another stock vehicle, id rather keep my baby that ive maintained the last 60k kms!

that HU is amazing. Like. i feel like droppign the subs idea for now and getting that

dammit though i have tuition due next month YIKES!

ahh those heated rear seats....something you won't even find in some carsthat cost double the price

if i've took my time to compare both the qx4 and pathfinder for surei would of walked the extra mile...just never noticed much of a differenceuntil i got it...nevertheless i love it

The pre-2004 models are essentially the same car. One just has more bells on it. You can literally switch almost any part between the two with no problem. Why Nissan changed them I'll never know.

i guess its to make it seem fair for the guy that spends the etra 10k on a qx4...yet to keep Nissan's costs as low as possible
