I relocated my battery a while back. I ended up settling with an Optima Red top. I ended up installing it into the trunk and connecting it to the original power lead via 2 ga. wire. I grounded it with 2 ga. to the spare tire tie down in the trunk. I would like to install a 150 amp fuse in line within a foot or so of the battery since I'm sure 75 or 100 won't be enough, especially on colder days.

I was just wondering what fuses you guys might recommend for those that have relocated their battery. I would prefer the simplest route, as I really don't care if it is asthetically pleasing.

I've had a problem with my car since winter. The third and forth injectors haven't fired since the battery was relocated (coincident, lol?), and I'm beginning to wonder if not having an in line fuse might have fried the current ecu that I may have.

check the grounds for the injector harness, some of them attach near where the stock batteriesground attaches. a 100 amp fuse should be fine. a car audio place will probably ahve any kind of fues etc you'll need an inline would be easiest since you already wired it but im not sure

It might even be easy to just find a link and order one online if anyone has a good recommendation.

I run a stinger 150 amp breaker ~6" from the battery.http://search.ebay.com/search/...o%3D2highly recommend bag-boy, great seller and very fast.

I don't think not having a fuse would have fried the ECU, because even with a 150 amp fuse.... the ecu would explode at far less then that.

Injectors get constant power, and are grounded by the ecu to squirt fuel. I would just check that they're getting power and verify the wiring back to the ecu is good.

Sweet, thanks for the link! I'm slowly and surely on the road to getting my car running again. I just have such little motivation lately, I just wanna buy a motorcycle now, lol.
