in desperate need of advice

Hello,

This is for anyone who understands what I am going through. I have a '90 Nissan 240SX. It was running in good condition until today. I cranked up my car and it just started shaking as if it was going to cut off. When I put it in reverse or drive it really starts shaking something terrible! When I press the gas and go it does fine but it has a sluggish pull to it like it is grabbing for air or gas or something I don't know. I am so scared it is going to cut off in traffic I don't know what to do. Could you please tell me if you've heard of this similar problem and if so what to do? I am desperate to try anything. I am a college student and I drive back and forth to two different locations everyday and I need my car. I love this car and it has brought me joy since I've had it because it has never gave me any trouble up until now. Please help!!!:)
