ok guys, I'll be doing the SR swap into a 92 s13 and a KA24DE into a 90 S13. To make the long story short, will it be ok if I use the harness from the KA24E for the swap? will i encounter the problem with the Tach? are there any other precautions that i need to take if I use the KA24E Harness instead of the KA24DE?
Please......any suggestions are truly appreciated

Yeah, it won't work. You have to get the harness from a s13 dohc motor. Not to mention the ecu (definitely), distributor, maf, and a/c and p/s compressors as well. Unless your SR came complete with all of those things...which depending on where you got it, yeah I don't know, so thats a heads up should that not be the case. No the tach won't work, you need the gauges from a s13 dohc again, the signal is different. (nothing works at all.) Doesn't bother me much, but some folks. Anyway, hope it helped.

can anyone comfirm this info? does this mean that everyone with a 89-90 240sx have to get the DOHC harness to do the swap? damn.........
