I read the posts about the pioneer/alpine/kenwood installs, and I am going to do this to my 2010 Rogue, but I cant find any posts where someone has installed one of these that works with steering wheel controls, and has ipod/sirius/bluetooth working as well. What I would like to do is run the usb cable to the glove box for the ipod also as to keep it hidden. I am also interested to see how these units sound with the bose as that is what I have. So, if anyone has done this, I would love to hear feedback/advice, etc.... I am still undecided on which unit to get, but will probably go with a kenwood unit. Thanks!

Well just a quick search on crutchfield (didn't get too in depth, just got off a 12 hour graveyard) but I found a Doubledin unit, Satellite ready/ipod compatible dvd player in a kenwood configuration for you at http://www.crutchfield.com/p_7...20212

This includes the head unit and the gps module. You would more than likely have to buy a converter to continue using your steering wheel controls ( http://www.crutchfield.com/S-S...IJACK ) that will run you another $75 on top of the radio as well as having to buy a satellite receiver and any other accessory your heart could desire.

Mind you there are other Alpine units, Eclipse units, Clarion etc that are less (or more) expensive. Just depends on what you want to spend and your preferences.

Post above mentions this but you pretty much always need a steering wheel interface to get an aftermarket head unit to work with OEM steering wheel controls. Details on installing the SWI-JACK in a Rogue can be found on PAC's site:

You state you are "interested to see how these units sound with the bose"...

Actually the new unit will "replace" the Bose. So... the sound, will be specific to the player you decide to install..., although its a safe bet any quality aftermarket unit you install will sound better than the Bose.

Yes... aftermarket "adapters" are available that allows you to use the steering wheel controls in your Rogue. Heres's a link to one of them:

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1...=3405

The above adapter assumes you have the factory installed Bose sound system. NOTE: To use these adapters and retain use of your steering wheels controls the new radio you select must have a wired remote input.

If you haven't already done so you might want to read thru this thread as well... it has some good information on this subject:
