I purchased a cheese DVD player for my Altima to try it out before I dish out the money for a nice unit, and it works very well, it even plays while driving...lol but yes they will work and it is a snap to put in!

Oh and sorry this is a PT (Performance Teqnik)..or something like that 7 inch touch screen.

Go to crutchfield.com and then when you search their site for players, it will tell you if it fits or not once you input your car data.

Then you can search for the model you want to find a cheaper price if there is.

Here in Denver, only one place sells an in-dash changer: CarToys. It has a screen, plays CDs, too and an AM/FM tuner. $1440 installed with a aux port (extra) and dash panel.

To all - I'm not a techy girl at all and I'm hoping someone can shed some light for me. I attempted to research through this site with no luck. (My research skillz are poor )

I have a 2008 Altima 3.5 SL with factory Bose system and navigation. I would like to make the navigation screen also be able to play DVDs. I have an old DVD player that sat under the pass. seat from my last car and was hoping to use that for this car.Is any of this possible? I realize it's not legal to watch DVDs up front, but this would be for the passenger, of course. Thanks all!

they make modules for this very purpose, however, to my knowledge, there are no modules available for the factory nav systems in the 07-08 Altimas.

Also, these modules will allow you to WATCH video on your nav screen, not PLAY dvds through the nav system... just wanted to clear that up

Thanks! I guess I'll be on the hunt. Can you point me in the direction of a resource, or should I begin a Google hunt?
