I was ****ing with you guys lol, the oil was coming out of my cam seals so it looked like my head was leaking. Now that i think about it.. I did not have any smoke coming from the exhaust.

Anyone want a brand new felpro gasket now? 55shipped. I can ship it out tuesday if you paypal me [email protected]

Well, I'm glad that someone had good luck!!

Yes, I do beleive that the unclean surface was to blame. I was in a rush, and so afraid of damaging the head, that I was too easy on the build up on the head.

Loveless, I honestly do not know. I am still using factory head bolts, but i plan to upgrade to ARP shortly. As I understand, the SR Main Stud set is a drop in affair.

The stud set is a drop in affair and works really nicely. The only thing you need is a really thin walled socket to get past the cam lobes. I just ground down the sides of an old one. I have a cometic with the ARP studs so we will see how much abuse it will take. Good luck!
