I need to replace the in-cabin microfilter in my 2007 Altima. I've tried removing the glovebox liner without success. I don't want to force it and risk damaging it. Any assistance with this removal/replacement is appreciated. Help!

I haven't had to do this to my car yet, but I have done it to my 05 Frontier LE. Here is a link that gives instructions on how to change it on an 08 Altima Coupe, which shouldn't be different then your 07. I hope it helps you. GL and please post if it was a success.

Once you have out all the screws just give it a good yank! It'll come out with no problems....read the DIY!

I don't know about the sedan, but in the coupe I was able to switch out the in-cabin filter without taking out the glove box. If you can somehow reach behind the glove box and take the tab holding the filter compartment closed out, you can then grab the tab on the filter and yank it out. Then through wonderful contortions you can put a new one in and close the tab. Bit of warning though, I ended up upside down in the passenger seat with my head under the glove box for most of the time trying to get this to work.
