my car is shutting off and I thought i'd be a good idea to install a fuel pressure gauge, so that I can rule out the f. pump.

If you attempt to tech at any drag strip they will give you a no go due to fuel run into the cabin.

You can tap in anywhere in the feed line.

Do not run any fuel line into your cabin..Period..Spend the approximately $200.00+ it will cost to get an electric F/P gauge with sender if you have to have your F/P inside the cabin..Such as http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItemBe sure and get the sending unit as well or the gauge will be useless..That's just my suggestion, you can do anything you feel safe doing...
