I've had mine replaced three times so far, but let my mechanic do it. (I bought the filters and brought them to him, since they never have them in stock at our dealership.) From what I've read, you take the glove box out, and the filter is to the back left as you're looking in the opening.

I changed it once and i need ot change it again. I've kind of forgotten how I did it 8 months ago, but I'm pretty sure I had to unscrew to glovebox to ge to it. I think there's 4 screws holding the face of the glovebox on.

I'm also remembering that maybe not all the screws had to come it, but it doesn't hurt to remove too many.

I have a dusty parking lot at work and it's dusty around hte area wiht all the farms ans such. I seem to get the filter dirty in only 6-8 months. I'm goign to try and somehow modify the old filter to have a element in it that i can clean or replace instead of buying the whole thing. It's stupid that you must pay about $30 for the whole thing instead of $15 for jus the paper element. Heck, my whole house premium 3M allergan filter that's finer than the one on the Versa is only $18 and it's 24"x16" with tighter pleats. I could cut one of those apart and make about 4-6 of my own inserts

Methinks that CodeRed should add that link to the FAQ thread...
