Behind the glove box, took about 8 minutes to replace. If you follow the link to the blower motor problem thread someone posted a walkthrough on how to change them.Ubel Feuer wrote:Where is that located in the vehicle?
I've never replaced mine and am pretty sure it's the factory original. It's been through 2 san diego fires so I'm pretty much afraid of what's living in it. It might eat me when I pull it out...fueler wrote:they look pretty nasty even after 30k miles
I totally forgot about all the fires, where I live I get the ash from all of the LA, Ventura/Santa Barbara and Malibu fires. Somehow a bunch of cellophane from cigarette boxes got up in mine. I thought about getting a brush to clean the housing but figured it would end up being a bottomless pit.SnowSurfLax wrote:

Hate to spoil the party, but don't be surprised if you don't have those filters installed. They were not standard equipment on all Pathy's. I didn't have them in my '02. I installed them about a year and a half ago. Easy job.pathfinder9035 wrote:geez...i never changed mine and i have 107k i wonder what it will look like...cant wait to see...lol
