Thanks to everyone who contributed to the "Blower Motor Problem" thread located here: zerothread/289709 after finally reading it which I put off because for some reason thought that it didn't apply to me(not even knowing what a blower motor was) I decided to go and change my in-cabin air filter which took an entire 8 minutes. Here's what my filter looked like with 184,000 miles on it. Keep in mind these filters should be changed ever 12,000 miles and new they are white.

I've probably got 50% more air output from my climate control system, huge difference.

Yikes!!! I might should check mine out (Idk if I even have them for sure or not) but considering I have 50k miles on the truck, I'd bet it looks pretty nasty.

Behind the glove box, took about 8 minutes to replace. If you follow the link to the blower motor problem thread someone posted a walkthrough on how to change them.

I've never replaced mine and am pretty sure it's the factory original. It's been through 2 san diego fires so I'm pretty much afraid of what's living in it. It might eat me when I pull it out...

I totally forgot about all the fires, where I live I get the ash from all of the LA, Ventura/Santa Barbara and Malibu fires. Somehow a bunch of cellophane from cigarette boxes got up in mine. I thought about getting a brush to clean the housing but figured it would end up being a bottomless pit.

Hate to spoil the party, but don't be surprised if you don't have those filters installed. They were not standard equipment on all Pathy's. I didn't have them in my '02. I installed them about a year and a half ago. Easy job.
