"To remove the filter you have to push it up and pull out, it is a bit stiff but it will move"

in-cabin-air-filter-replacement-with-ph ... 65393.html

I followed this procedure and at the moment where the lower tab goes out, I ear a sound (like a peace of plastic that broke). I then reinsert the lower tab into the slot and tried to replace the whole thing in place, but now it's loose and the upper part don't want to stay in place firmily...

In some other forum they said to pull the upper tab and then pull the filter upward to release the lower tab.
I dont have this upper tab. My filter is exacly the same that on the picture of the link.

Any one can help for this?
If I replace the filter with a new one, will it stay in place correctly?

thanks for the great pictures and tutorial,

thanks.

it is very difficult to get out, as the top part of the filter will get stuck on that peice of metal behind the glovebox. I did mine this morning.you have to push the filter up and then pull it out. there is no true clip on it, just a little tab that sits in a hole to keepp it in place.
