I have a meet to go to in march (already payed $100 registration) but i have a problem. I have a s15 turbo but the stock fuel system at the moment. At 7 psi will I run into problems using the stock ECU and fuel injectors? If its going to be a problem i will get a apexi SAFC and put in my sard 550cc (that i want to sell), but i would rather save for the powerFC and put off the fuel system for now.

You can run the T28 at 7psi and be fine. You don't need more fuel until you start running more boost.

How much do you want for the injectors? Do they fit in the stock fuel rail? Can I aim? Im just curious to asking questions on your setup thanks!

Im not selling them yet, if the Quad throttle bodies dont work out for me im going to need these for my stock intake mani and fuel rail (the new manifold comes with 440 topfeeds and rail).

Technicaly the t28 should be more efficient even at 7psi, but thats what a mass air sensor is for. It should run just fine until you over run the stock fuelsystems ability

I wouldnt think as long as you are modest on the boost. Just do your rice math. here is what i mean.. this is all just a guesstimation:

T25 tops out at around 280hp @14-15 psiT28 tops out at around 320?hp @ 14-15? psi

280/14 = 20hp/psi320/14 = 22.86hp/psi

the t28 makes a guestimated 2.86 hp/psi more than the t25. @ 7psi you will make approximately 20 hp more than stock. This is WELL within the 370cc injectors limits.

I KNOW its not an exact science, but its good enough to be sure you wont miff anything up.

i have no problems running the big28 without the Z32 MAF, or bigger injectors so far. The only thing i notice is that at about 6500-6700 RPM the MAF is running at about 97-98%. SO i have never taken her above that RPM cause i figure without a bigger MAF the air flow would be the same at 6500 as it would be at 7500 , which shouldnt be.

the 370's are not going to support over 300 hp. The factory ECU limits duty cycle to about 80%, which is a good&safe thing. Go to the RC engineering website and do the online calculator, that should give you a good ballpark of what injectors to use. I seriously doubt the factory 370's are going to support over 13 psi. Just watch your AFR, make sure you dont jump lean at the top end.Heres an example:300HP, .62 BSFC(for turbo engines), 50 psi fuel press., 85% duty cycle, 4 injectors = 536cc/min.

for 250Hp and the above params = 447cc/min

for 207 HP = 370 cc/min

hope that helps.

Well i know people have put down over 240 at the wheels on the stock injectors. What im asking is: will my T28 flow enough at 7 psi to max out the stock injectors?

lemme say it: No. If I haven't maxed out my stock injectors on 12 PSI even with my old T25, I doubt that 7 PSI on the T28 will max them out.
