Let's talk United Sportscar Championship!

I'm surprised I haven't seen a thread for it. Watching Sebring today...crazy race. So many stupid crashes but also so much good driving. The Corvette teams are kicking a** (both Prototype and GT).

I love mixed-class racing. Corvettes, Vipers, Aston Martins, Ferraris, Porsches, Audis on the same track as Chevy, Ford, Honda, Mazda, and Nissan-powered prototype cars. There's also a HUGE variance in driver skill (as evidenced by todays race and some dumbass multi-car wrecks).

It's got all of F1's strategy with a much more varied level of competition. There's rarely a boring moment in a USCC (or formerly ALMS or Rolex) race.

Aside:
DAMN the new Viper and C7 'Vette look good in race form.

Last year in ALMS Porsches pretty much dominated every race. This year, they and the Astons seem to be just blending in while the 'Vettes and Fords show everyone where the front of the pack is.
