Any body heard of Impul wheels? I've tried to search but don't really come up with anything. I am thinking of purchasing a set of Impul R5's but the hub section has me kind of worried, the holes for the lugnuts are kind of off center and I was wondering about the quality of them. Here is a pic of the wheel so you can see what I am talking about

Impul are the old school japanese wheel makers. Not as large/main stream now, but most of the wheels they are pretty high quality. My buddy rolls on impul meshies and he loves it. Also, you'd only find Impuls here in the states used now, no more new ones available unless you know some specialty shop.

About your particular rim, I don't know much on, just make sure it's the 114.3 pattern & you'll be fine.

Definately better quality than Rotas, etc.

isn't it a hoshino impul R5? if you do a web search for that you might turn somethin up.

btw - they made a lot of quality wheels and the one you pictured looks tobe either 2 piece or 3 piece. if its 3 piece, straight barrel, AND it fits, I'd jump on it.

If you are looking for a comparable alternative I know a guy who's sellingsome 4x114.3 16x7 and 16x8 jdm precedeo (by tanabe) wheels for a reasonable price. these are of the same style, but I think 7 spoke.this is not the classifieds forum so if you want me to put you in touch withhim, shoot me an email.

Are those the Precideos on RB Motoring?

anyways...

Those Precideos look a billion times better than those Impuls

The reason the lug pattern looks weird on the precideos is becuase its a 4lug on a 5 spoke rim, but their fine. A kid from Automotive Forums has them on a 400+WHP S13

I actually found the Impul's on RBmotoring in the first place. They are 4 lug and16x7 32 offset and 16x8 32 offset. Its a toss up between these volk racing AV, Enkei racing S, or the old school 3 spoke advans. All of them are the same specs and are going on an S14.What do you guys think I should do

Continental drift what is your email so I can get in touch with your contact?

It's all personal taste. rbmotoring sells good stuff, so you'll be set either way.

Yeah I know its mostly personal taste, I'm just trying to get opinions on which ones would look better and what not.Right now Im still rolling on the stock 15's and I really don't like the way they look.

they may be the same style as RB's, other than the demon camber this isthe only half way popular one. They belong to a guy I know who isn't running4 lug anymore.

I think you should get 16" advan oni's or 17" sa3r's or gen 2's, but thats just my dirtylittle three spoke fetish talking

if you have interest in the precedeos I think he's looking for around 650 and since you aren't in Ca...then probably shipping. email is [email protected]

yeah they are a staggered setup. I also prefer those over the Impul's but I didnt know if the advans would have looked good on the s14 bodyI was also thinking of running a 5 or 10mm spacer on all four wheels just to get it to be a little more flush, but I am unsure of that now that I saw a pic of an S14 with 30offset wheels
