I have a 2008 G37S w/ a 5AT and I'm looking for ways to improve the responsiveness of my car and the shifting of the 5AT. The car just doesn't feel like is responds quickly to pedal changes and shifts seem kinda soft and slow. The dealership says it's fine, but it's really not much fun to drive most of the time. I really want to drop some money into intake / exhaust and a few other bolt-ons, but I don't want to spend money on performance mods for a car I don't enjoy driving in the first place.

I've tried searching, but most posts are about the 7AT. I've also talked to a local UpRev dealer and they said that there wasn't anything they could do to help. So what can I do can I do to make the car more responsive, lively, and shift better?

Thanks,
- Chris

Look at the Trango shift kit: 5at-transgo-valve-body-shift-kit-diy-t479887.html

You can also look into levelten.com and get a built valve body.
