I've had my 07' G35 S for two weeks now.

Is there anything other than the obvious (more care in my driving) that I can do to increase the mileage?

Also, if I was gonna put things into my car to improve performance - what can I add?

All thoughts welcome.

The SBD grounding wires seemed to help my 04 coupe gain a couple of mpg.
K&N drop-in made my MPG go down in our 05 Sedan...
I think most folks start off with an aftermarket intake.
Check R2C dry filters.

Aftermarket intakes, headers, hi-flow cats, cat-back exhaust, Cobb or other ECU tune are all bolt-ons that are available. What are you wanting to accomplish?

I just want to improve overall gas mileage if possible. You know decrease gas cost.

No flames, 87 is fine in a G35 sedan. Coupes require premium as do all G37's.

I tried 87 octane first time yesterday in my 07 G35x. So far it seems good.

With the mods I did I improved my highway mileage from 23/24 up to 27-28. When I changed my FD in the rear diff it dropped me back down to 23-24 mpg.

Intake, exhaust & TUNE.

Side Note: My around town driving didnt change much...only .5 mpg at most.

When we could not get prem here, I did use 87 in our 05 Sedan and even drove up into the NC mountains and didn't hear any knocking plus it ran fine.
