impossible to put car into gear with clutch-help please

ok bought a project car.had no slave installed new one along with new clutch master cylinder.i can dry shift the transmission with no power to the car.if i turn the car on and try to shift nothing.it's super hard to press pedal down.did i not adjust something correctly?

did you bleed the line after installing that new gear

did you also do anything to the clutch while you were doing this process

was the previous owner able to give you any insight on the project? like did he/she try installing a new clutch and just happen to not put the fork in the wrong place on the throw out bearing carrier, and so on?
