I'm pretty sure this is the same guy from last year who ruined his transmission. He claims he paid $3000 for a custom turbo application for his QR25DE. He doesn't have any more information, but as of two days ago he confirms that his car currently has 405 HP.

What's going on here?

On A SIDE NOTE. Did anyone hear that the 2010/2011 Altima Coupes have slower acceleration and 1/4 times then their older siblings from the 2008- 2009 years. A guy in the comments of an altima video I saw just recently made the claim. He couldn't cite his sources.

total bs. Youll need way more than just a turbo kit to get to the upper 400hp levels.

This is definitely not cleared up anymore being that he made a new youtube account and had a update on his car two days ago on Youtube with new claims. If you recall, he never said his car made it to that 400HP range at all. This is an entirely new claim with the same car. That's why I'm left confused and would like to know more. I remember when the transmission was all messed up because I was here for all of that.

As for your SIDE NOTE about 10/11 Altima Coupes being slower... rubbish. What changed about them to make them slower? Same powertrains, same equipment (roughly), same weight... whoever said that is trolling. All of those tests are for reference anyway. I've seen 0-60 times from "testers" that ranged from 5.6s - 6.4s for an AC 6MT V6. Who knows how many different factors there are that attributed to this - awful drivers, wet/damp roads, tests at higher elevations, etc. The only times that matter are the ones you make, as every car is different.

so this guy puts a turbo into a CVT altima, blows it, sells the parts (i'm pretty sure i heard of someone picking up his turbo), spends who knows how much money to fix it, then puts in another and boosts it even more?...

I have to throw in the BS flag on this one. I have a 3.5 MT with HLSD, Stage 3 clutch and so on and so forth. My car is pushing 425HP to the wheels @ 9.3psi. For him to make 400HP is what the thread title says "IMPOSSIBLE". HAHAHA FUNNY GUY :chuckle: .

He does mention he has 405 HP several times. Check the user comments.

EDIT: Just so everyone knows. I'm claiming shenanigans as well.

i honestly don't know, and if he does he'll probably need either a very good explanation or a flame suit, one or the other.
