I have a blown head gasket/cracked head (ka24e) and I'm trying to remove the head and take it in to get checked out. In order to do so I need to remove the intake manifold. using chilton's manual, I get to the end and it I need to remove bolts that hold the intake manifold to the head. theres 4 on top, no problem. but the 2 on the bottom are practically impossible to reach. do i need a specialty tool or whats the secret? thanks, any help appreciated.

HAHA I feel stupid turns out they arent where I thought they are, feel free to delete this thread:thinker

I used a long extention and a swivel extention to get the 2 hard to get bolts on my KA24DE

unbolt the ECCS box, the bolts are actually on the top directly underneath the fuel rail mounting bolts, under those 3 metal vaccum lines

the 2 bolts are really long, i wasn't expecting them to be where they were
