Importing Japanese cars to the US

Anyone here ever imported a Cima from Japan to the US or Canada?I have seen some Nissan President owners on these boards and just was wondering the story behind how those cars were imported into the US.

Bring a Japanese right driver into the US is seriously a PITA. You see some Silva's around (240SX JD) and of course skyline's and an occasional president.

There was one guy that had a Cima on the board, cannot rember if he was a Canadian or an Aussie, but I have ever seen a US one, at least no there.

By far the most common car is the Skyline since it was a such a great car and we had no version of it here. they are $$$$$ to get.
