IMPORTING G35 FROM USA TO CANADA. PLEASE HELP!

I was searching some info about importing a 06 g35 from the usa to canada. The inspection bureau stated that I have to get daytime running lights and have the speedometer changed from mph to kph bigger numbers on top. I find that changing the display on the speedometer from mph on top and kph on bottom to kph on top and mph on bottom is nonsense. Has anyone had a similar problem like this? Also how do you DO these modifications? The price here in canada for a g35 05-06 is 30,000$ + , in the usa 22,000$- 9% exchange rate. I end up saving big$$$. Please help

http://www.importcartocanada.info/ This site help you to get al the info. I would ask the nearest dealer how much it would cost you to get the job done. I know there was a guy from Alberta he imported one G. Lets hope he'll chime in and help.

Go to the Registrar of Imported Vehicles website http://www.riv.ca. That will explain everything to you. You only require "stickers" from Canadian Tire with respect to the speedometer / odometer. That website will provide you with everything you need to know. Click on the links which will also take you to the Border Services website (Customs). It's not nearly as difficult as they make it out to be. Also call Cdn Tire yourself & ask what modifications are required for the vehicle you are importing... Be sure to ask the approx $$ amount and more importantly ASK THE WAIT TIME. Some of these places are swamped with imports and Cdn Tire is the only place authorized to do them. Make sure you get the Title and bill of sale faxed to US Customs 72 hrs prior to bringing it across, or you'll be stuck at the border. Hope this helps.
