importing cars from the us to canada

i have been debating importing a 2004 g35 into canada. it is very hard to find a g35 for under 28,000 in canada, however i have been reading threads here and people are talking that low 20,000s is a good price. i talked to a dealer today and he admitted that importing cars to canada is now worth it cause the dollar is so good.what is the average price of a decent g35 coupe say 03 or 04 in us dollars. i dont want to buy in the states then find its going to cost more when i get it home. any help would be greatly appreciated and welcomed

Welcome to NICO!! I actually saw a show on this about a couple that does it all the time.. they end up saving more then 5k everytime. There is a bit of paperwork involved but they have done it so many times, they're pros. I can't remember the process but I hope this helps you!!

thanks for the info, i see you are from mississaugam its amazing the price difference between buying in cdn and the us. i actually found a couple of 04 coupes this morning in ny state for 19,000 us. they did have 60,000 miles but still thats pretty good. the web site you gave me was a big help thank you. any idea what the best web site is for buying used cars in the united states is?the us version of our auto trader.thanks again
