New to NICO, work in Japan, own a beautiful 1995 GTR R-33 with some decent mods, and am wondering how to bring it back to the US with me. Street legal would be nice, but would not mind if only for track/display/exhibit use, even if unable to register for street use. Just to get it back into the US would be fine with me. Help!!!! :)

I doubt that you will be able to get it registered for street use. Good luck though. I wish the laws weren't like this. :(

Just read through the lists and addendums in there. One of the things keeping it from pasing is that "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" isn't on the passenger side mirror? Really?

I'd sell it and regain any cash you poured into the car. The car is going to be worthless for track driving, as you'll not be able to classify the car properly, be subject to protests even if folks do let you run and other assorted headaches. The car will be more furniture than a car. Beyond all this, there is the headache of owning a car that wasn't sold in the US and driving on the wrong side of the road in relation to where you sit.

If you want a track car for use back here, get something that's plentiful in abundance in the United States. That way, when you stuff it (and you will, it's just a matter of time), you can find replacement parts very quickly and very easily so your downtime will be minimal.
