Good luck! I want a R33 GTR so bad,but the US government make you jump through so many hoops that its almost not worth it.There are many people here that have the specific info your looking for,you just have to look in the right spot.;) motoRex might be able to help you out but they are not cheep!

what about that one place Motorex i guess. they sell skylines for apperantly 18-28000 starting price. i think it's bullsh*t since the engine alone is worth 10-15G.

the 18-28k is just to LEGALIZE the car. dosen't include act. car price from what I have been told, ask palmerwmd, he knows more about this issue.

i don't thnk so. some d1ck rolled up into to my job and it just so happen i was talkn about the skyline and this guy was all like "yeah i have a boy how has a skyline in d.c. yeah they big cars man there like about 3/4 (that would be like the size of the new escaldes) of this store. you can get one a motorex for 18-28." me and this other kid was like i smell b.s. the others where just going along. then i go "well aren't the retail on a skyline about 60G" guy "hell no! how ever told you that lied" and i was like whatever you say. i don't even know why i even got concerend b/c after the skyline talk he started talking about his pontica, his boy "7 sec street legal civic" that raced a ferrari and toasted it. beat'n a ferrari is possible (not drag cars) in a civic ex!? 7's rrrrrrrrright. IDK thats my story for the week.

You can not legally import a Silvia into the US. Not even Motorex can do it. Also, their Skylines start to $70,000 or so... not $18,000! If you happen to get a Silvia here... it will never be legal to drive it.

The one import tuner or turbo magazine had an article about c-west in cali. They had s14 and s15 models for sale, don't know if they were legal though. The one s14 even had a rb26dett swap and they only wanted $15000. Personally I didn't even believe it. Also ppl are reading the motorex ads in these magazines and it says R32 gts models start at 18000 and R32gtr models at 28000.

yeah i know. thats probably where the idiot got his 18g pricing. i admit i belived him for abou .2 of a second and then realized that the engine cost more then that. ! a very dark idea just poped up. i'll act like im going to buy a skyline and then have them tell me that it's $100,000 for R34 specII and then sue for false advertisment. J/K J/K PPL! SCC had that in their november issue (i know b/c i must of read about that S13 about a million....million and 1 times, now got done reading it again. yeah i think it's bull too. with all the work they did to it, it should atleast be doubled.?

and im pretty sure that they a refering to their japanese factory any way. they have a tendency of saying how you can get things for mad cheap. the only thing that they did was convert jap. currancy to american currancy.

SR20DET........ also no one has crash tested them like motorex did with the Skyline. Shell out the cash to do it... and then maybe it could happen.... until then.... we're just going to be out of luck.
