So ever since I put the widebands in the car I have always wondered why the F the afr from one side was always off 1.0 (so if the left bank was a 14.7 the right would be at 15.6-8ish) thought maybe it could have been the widebands that maybe read different, or the intake as the left bank is wouldn't get 100% the same air as the left because of plenum design.

But when I was just doing some things with the cams I noticed the the intake cams where they bolt to vvt housing have some room for adjustment (it actually looks like quite alot.

The left banks were not the same as the right banks, all the bolts seemed nice and tight but the left bank ones did lossen a bit easier so I think over time (220, 000km) the cam moved.
Put it to the same amount as the right banks cam and now it reads the exact same or no more then maybe one or two points off.

Car feels much better as well, smoother, more lowend made a huge difference.

Anyone else notice this? Would be a good idea to check only takes 5min to fix once valve cover is off.

Ya just make sure -not- to take any of the bolts all the way out if yours has to be adjusted, only lossen the torx bolts + with a wrench holding the intake cam.
