Important Techs advise 91Q please?

I have a few things Im fixing on my 91Q - California…

1>Radiator- my radiator plastic cracked so I looked around saw new oems $490 saw new afters [all metal] $230, which is better?

2>Should I add an auxiliary trans cooler? I here 91Qs should use them?

3>I need F/R Brake pads - Metal, Ceramic ~ Name Brand type?

4>Sparkplugs- Name Brand and oem temperature?

1. Ill sell you my old one, cheap... Its in great condition and my Q never ran over 3 o clock..

2. Yes... Goto summitracing.com and get the B/M 70268, or 70264...

3. Metal matrix is good, as well as OEM... OEM seem to be about the best...

4. ONLY OEM NGK.. you can get them from me on Q45.org..... Goto the Q45.org shop...

Dude u know you are about to get the oem speech. On the transmission cooler definately get it. As far as pads OEM for longevity. Sparkplugs OEM again for longevity. Radiator as far as I am concerned is debateable. I would look into aluminum.

THe OEM radiator isnt always the most cost effective way..... most will say its "best", but for most if you get 7 years instead of 10 out of one that costs less than half...

As far as I know OEM are about as good when it comes to longevity and stopping power...... Also quietness...

The fickin oem radiator is dangerous to my engine and twice the price? (-;The other is all aluminum but I don’t know if it has an trans cooler though – not important if Im adding a cooler?

Agreed..... If you hvae an external cooler (as seen on Q45.org) youll see that youd bypass the stock "cooler" anyhow!
