See what I mean... According to the diagram and table in the attachment:

Outermost ring=a=exhaust cam=240 degs.

Innermost ring=b=intake cam=248 degs.

Therefore, a dual exhaust cam setup is actually 240/240, not 248/248 as most KA owners believe.

This is page 47, EM Sec. of the 1993 240SX Nissan Factory Service Manual.

I was looking at that all last night, I was skeptical at first, but I think you're right. Which means people have been disguarding the wrong cam all this time...lol.

Yeah... It would be nice to let other KA owners in on the right information, but the 248 exhaust cam mistake is so widespread that it won't be easy.

Wow! That is quite obvious that the exhaust is 240 and intake 248.

I was looking at the diagram and I think there's a typo:

a=exhaust cam should be 248 because e(8)+f(60)+180=248 exhaust cam

b=intake cam should be 240 because c(-1)+d(61)+180=240 intake cam

There appears to be a typo in the a and b values in the table so the 248/248 dual exhaust cam swap myth IS true.
