Import Question

Sorry if the question I'm asking is too stupid but i really don't know! I need to know this because my brother want to sale some stuff from Hong Kong to US/Canada!

I did read the "import to usa??" thread. so I can't import a whole car in to registor, but can i import a whole car for just parts? can I import just the engine for swap? could that be registored?whats the differce between the USDM and JDM turbo ca18?

i dont think they made a ca18 turbo in america. Correct me if im wrong. You have to be able to import front clip because people do it all the time. I dont think you can do the whole car, but i wouldn't no. Never tried to import a whole car.

They made the CA in the US. Here it is a CA18ETand I believe a CA20DE.

There would really be no reason to import a whole car just for parts, and yes you can get it imported, ask Dauntless about this. Like BP said, it wold be easier and cost less to import the front clip, which is essentially everything from the shifter up (some clips come with body work, some don't, depends on the importer).
