Ok i am sure someone somewhere has asked this question, i just cant find it. I have heard of the Kaizo Industries place making the chassis DOT legal and all that. And have also seen that there web site is down, for what im not sure. But if i have a R33 imported and it is sent in pieces like a "kit car" then i make the chassis DOT legal and basickly put it back together, is that even close to being posibly leagal once it meats all the DOT specifications. Now i dont know how i would or could do all that myself, i am sure someone will have to inspect it then i will have to get the papers and all that. But how far off am i. Is this a shot or what. And i looked to try and find this question so dont burn me. Thanks lol

No need to search, it's at the top of this forum as a "Sticky" thread.

The drivetrain going into that car is the sticking point.

I'm sure that some door bar mods and fitting a VG30det and fs5r30a from a 1996 Z32 twin turbo could be made legal on a 1996 or older R33 but you lose the awd and RB engine which is why most people want the skyline.
