Alright, seriously.

The guy is obviously asking how to import an S-chassis to Norway....he's also quite obviously FROM Norway, and then everyone proceeds to make fun of his English?

Do any of you speak Norwegian??

Thought not, so don't shxt all over someone when they're not speaking their native language.

Anyway, Ec0, welcome to NICO.

I'm not familiar with Norway's specific laws regarding the importation of cars, but your best bet is likely to import a car from either Europe or the UK, as they have the versions with the better engines.

It'd also probably be a lot cheaper to ship a car from Europe than it would be from the US.

You might also want to look into getting a car shipped directly from Japan, if Norwegian law allows such things.

The 200sx should be the same car as the 240sx, from a body standpoint.

Does your 200sx look like the pictures above, or is it a 2-door Sentra?

Can you find links to pictures of both the Norweigian 200sx and the 240sx?

Maybe from dealer websites or owner sites or something?

Cars have different names in different countries, and I want to be sure I'm giving you correct advice.

Thanks

Thank you Chris!

Ec0, I think all S13 or S14 were called 200sx in Europe. In the US, we named the B14 (a 2 door Sentra) the 200sx. Just trying to figure out which car you are looking for.

Ok, welcome to the boards man.

I think the only difference "body" wise, is maybe the front end?

Are you looking for a Nissan 240sx w/ pop up lights in front? Is that what you mean by wanting a different one? Because if so, you can just get body panels/etc from shops here or there. Or if they have the 180sx there, which I'm guessing they should.

You already have the cars over there, all you need is body kit pieces to make it "look" different.

Norwegian 200sx forum - maybe you'll have some luck here:

And from this link, it seems those cars are available in Norway:

the 200sx in Europe are the same as the 240sx in the USA. why do you want all the hasle to import one...since they are the same chasis! the European model are better anyways...i believe the engine options they have there are CA18DET or SR20DET....and SR20DE....

hmmm????

USDM TYTE!

Im with everyone else though If I were you Id look for an S14 200sx, the engines they gave us here in the states arent bad per say, but they didnt come turbo and dont make as much power unless you put a turbo on them.

As far as body kits, all the same ones would work I think on the S14 200sxaka this carI dunno what the s13 200sx looks like exactly but does it have this frontor this one

Hi ECO, hi all

I m based in the middle east and i ve bought a couple of months ago a red 1998 US specs 240SX SE with 14000 miles on it ... mint condition . got local expatriate plates so easy for me to export it to wherever..

I love that car but i ve seen some good deals on Skyline in the region so would not mind switching ..

I do agree with the guys ..you are lucky enough to have easy access to the 200sx, so why bother with a 240 but what the heck...-))))

Let me know if u r serious about your idea ..

Cheers
