I was wondering if anyone here has tried any of the Neddle kits from http://www.importintelligence.com/. Im kinda tired of the faded white/yellow look and im thinking of having all of my gauges red with a white face. Just wondering if they will look as good as they do in the pictures.

I bought a needle kit from them several months ago and it got here fast without a problem. I haven't installed them yet, I started to, but I think this job is too fragile for me, and the few places I've asked weren't up for it. I haven't tried a stereo shop yet though and that will be my next attempt when I get the time.

I purchased and installed a set on my 96 Maxima a long time ago. Import Intelligence had just started up and were only doing Nissans.

The install was a sinch. The directions are VERY clear and precise. I used the blue needle kit from them, and combined it with the reverse indiglo gauges on eBay (the ones WITHOUT the gay center blue ring). It looked absolutely awesome. I even had this topped off with a set of chrome gauge rings. If I can dig up a picture, I'll post it for you. Many many many people loved the look. Kinda reminds me of a new VW gauge cluster color.....

Sounds good to me. Im going to get the hyper red needle kit, with either red bulbs for the numbers or possibly hyper white bulbs.

ive actually been thinking about getting a set of white LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com and putting them in with the stock guages...u could use what ever color you want...red, blue, green, yellow...but according to the FAA the only 2 colors that dont mess with ur night vision are red and blue

Only bad things about using the LEDs in the cluster is the light dispersion. LEDs, especially ones that have been placed in a 194 or 168 bulb base, are very directional. Meaning, certain parts of your gauge cluster are going to be brighter than others. Sometimes you get lucky and it all looks great. But sometimes the result is very bad, with four or five HELLA bright spots and the rest is dull or not even lite up.
