Impact sensor to add to the factory alarm?

Is there an available product that will let me add an impact sensor to the factory security system? Altima Coupe 3.5SE 2008.

But it states only for 2009+. I need something to prevent break ins and the factory security system is horrible. A thief just breaks window and steals head unit while the owner comes out the next morning to find a vandalized car and the security is still activated! Had that happen with my last vehicle. I figure an impact sensor would at least set off the alarm before a vandal has a chance to steal anything.

If not, what's a decent aftermarket alarm system that integrates with these vehicles considering the IKeys?

i have seen that viper security has alot of products like that, they even have a special window tint that can stop the thief from breaking the window. i would go check it out, it is kinda pricey though.

I'm just wanting something to add onto the factory system. Not a full blown sec system, just something to ward off thieves. I have the navigation unit in my new coupe and I'm extremely paranoid someones gonna snatch it. I live in a condo development in a good part of town, but every month or two there's always a couple of cars that have gotten the windows knocked out and looted. Is the factory nav something thieves even target on newer vehicles?

Avital 3001 ~ Anyone have any experience with this or something similar? My goal is to keep things simple and as factory as possible, along with a lower cost.
