Well I think I am going to get Image Dynamic subs. I haven't decided on keeping with the two 10s or going to one 12. If I go with a 12 I'd prolly get the IDMAX series, but its like $400. If I stayed with 10s I'd prolly get IDQs. If I got a 12 I'd need a new enclosure also. Wondering what your opions are on that. I was also talking to someone that was saying oval speakers(4x6 coaxial) are NOT good and was wondering if anyone has fit some 6.5s in an s13. I still don't have a 240, but I may get one soon and I'm just trying to figure out what I'll do with it. Let me know, thanks
wow no one answered you on this one... go with the 12" IDMAX, really nice sub. what's wrong with having to build a new enclosure? you would have to build a new box for the two 10's anyways if you wanted to build to specs and actually take advantage of the subs.
YES 4x6's sound like fecies hittin the bottom of a well... i dunno what i meant by that, but let's just say they suck :P
gettin 6.5"s to fit is no problem... if you take out the 4x6 mounting bracket in the doors you'll see that there is tonnes of room for a 6.5" speaker basket/magnet to fit in there. all you need to do is build something that will hold the speaker in the door, or something like i did...

you can check out the steps i took to make them in that thread cause i'm too tired to explain here... but i took a lot of bondo, fibreglass, and sweat to make those things
hey john, ya those are CDT CL-641s, and they sound AWESOME considering they are the lowest of the line that CDT makes. you can see the two crossovers in the lower part of my door...
my buddy has the Focal Polykevlar 3-ways (165k3) with the Utopia TN-51 tweeter, and the only reason i like his better are cause he can absolutely CRANK them. but other than that i really like the natural sound of the CDT's. these are his door panels, both of ours are garage installs :pface
oh ya, those are dynaudio 8's in his doors as well... his doors SMACK, but for the price of his setup, mine wins hands down
