went today for an estimate...

$65 an hour x 7 hours labor - $455$60 for oil lines - $60$150 an hour for dyno - $300 (CFT)$100 for downpipe - $100

brings me to $915. not bad. CFT wanted like 1300 all together. anyone know anywhere else around here?

Can't really beat Enjuku quality and experience: go with them and tell them you're from NICO.

7 hrs??? WHAT!!! When does it take 7 hrs to put on a turbo? Maybe if you're pausing every 15 minutes to eat a ham sandwich. Thats alot of chedda to fork out just to have someone connect some oil/coolant lines and a dozen or so (factoring in the 4 that hold it to the manif, the bolts on the dump and bolts on down) bolts for you.

Not bad if everything is done right. What are they all doing to the car, fuel pump, FMIC, etc?

with all the install details in mind, how much do you guys think i should be paying?

i broke it down as follows:

$455 - install (Enjuku)$300 - dyno tune (CFT)$100 - downpipe (paragon customs)$60 - oil lines (bb performance ((up north))

thats a fair price IMO........i know it took me longer than seven hours to do my turbo install so providing they have to do the oil pan, it could very well take that long pending on the man power and to account for any "bumps" in the installation. you figure at least an hour for the electronics alone................if i wasnt up to doing my own install, and if i was close to enjuku, that would probably be my choice. good peoples and excellent customer service

Ah, you're going from nothing to something. May take about that time depending on how many of your crew you have with you (and your knowledgebase), if you were to do it yourself.

Nearly 500 is still a bunch of cash to dump into paying someone to set you up though imho.

Shoot me an email, I can do a quick write up and answer any questions about an install that you'd need to know =) Save your chedda for bigger and better things.

no seriously dude, i wont be able to do it. haha. i have to cut all the intercooler piping to the right size so that it all works out, wire the safc and gauges, mount the manifold, bov, wastegate, yeah right. i mean, if someone helped me out and knew everything, i could do things, but not off the top of my head. you have to be like PUT A IN F6.
