Ive been busy with work and stuff (asian girls take up lot of your time )

I gots some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is that a redtop SR now lies under the hood of my 240

The good news is that I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance

I also sold my 92 SER. Gas mileage was rediculously horrible. 240 MILES PER TANK. That equals about to 18 MPG on a BONE STOCK SER. I couldnt handle it anymore. The turbo SR I have now gets better gas mileage (325-350 per tank). So yea, the choice was clear on that one.

Anyway, stuff I have done so far is minor bolts ons (intake, downpipe, test pipe, exhaust, adjustable WG actuator, fidanza flywheel, exedy 3 puck clutch) still stock sidemount for another month or 2.

Damn ive had a lot of motors in my car sohc and dohc KA's, CA18DET and now a SR20DET. RB25 might be next j/k

Intercooler will be the last thing I get for this car. Im still saving up for my next car, IS300

O, I might sell the adjustable WG actuator if anyone is interested. Its a stock sr one with the rod modified to be adjustable. Adjustable from 5 psi to whatever. Ive had it to 15 and you can still tighten it up some.

Damn its been a while since ive driven a CA powered 240. Luckily my buddy has one and ill drive his back to back after driving mine and post detailed info.

But so far, SR is a bit more torquey around town. Overall, its a noticably faster.

I have the same mods as I did on the CA.

Main and rod bearings on the CA were going so I ditched that project.

This is something to get me by and not be so slow. I dont plan on going all out with crazy mods on this motor. FMIC and ecu reflash is next, then thats it.

I get 325 miles per tank on the SR.

Works out to about 20 mile per gallon.

You wouldn't want to trade for an HKS unit would you? I want to be able to turn the boost down low. I do a lot of Highway driving and I want to keep it low when I don't need it. Email me here

I am getting more and more serious about another turbo 4 Nissan project. I just want to keep my S13CA, but mabye get a B13 w/ SR or RMS13 SR.

Glad that the Nissans are still treating you well. It does kind of suck having one less CA on the road tho!!

I have alot of his motor in my garage... I'm still not sure what I'm putting in my s12. Leaning towards the KA, especially since I successfully mated an s12 transmission with a KA bellhousing this afternoon, but a twin cam CA is a possibility
