So I'm back, after trying to figure out why my 300zx was running bad, choking, and smelling bad i replaced the injectors. The injectors were old and shot, and the idle is fine and the exhaust sounds great, but it still wont go sometimes when I am flooring it and seems like it has even less power than before. Can someone suggest what to do next? I am confuzzled, new injectors, worse engine.

Ive replaced
plugs
injectors
filters

Smelling bad hints at cat, if driven long enough they will melt and clog from flooding and then the car won't run for spit at higher loads.

Well the smell is gone after replacing the injectors. My car now sounds like its running on all cylinders without a hitch. Although now its got all the sound but no gallop, less gallop with injectors that arent bad? I dont understand that. Also when i was flooring it with bad injectors and the car would barely go, often, and a smell would arise, but now its gutless for less time and rarer and no smell. I seriously have no way to pin point this down. I was gunna see if anyone has had this problem before I sink money into replacing everything around the engine. All i did besides injectors was the N/A coolant bypass.

Have you checked the ECU for codes?

The smell if cat(s) will be rotten egg or hydrogen sulfide, the sulfur smell that shows up with too much fuel going through cat.

A check can be to loosen up exhaust to make a big LOUD leak before the cat and drive car then, if cat plugged car runs better.

You don't need a scanner, just a screw driver. Check the FSM in my signature for procedure and codes.

Note to everyone, make sure your fuel line clamps are tight as balls, or it leaks into your engine bay, onto your engine, leaks into the engine somehow and causes a painful amount of white smoke to pour out the exhaust. Super technical and I'm sure you all learned a lot from this.
