I have a 90" 240 I just had work done to the engine; the machanic said that the bottom end seems like new, but it needs valve job. Like most men, I want to go-all-out and throw in some preformance valves/cam to improve HP. The only problem is I don't knew who makes preformance parts for the ka24e(sohc). I would greatly apresiate references or advise thank you.

I wouldnt recomend any upgrades until you upgrade your induction and exhaust. After the intake and exh, I would go with a cam then adjstable rockers, and any fuel mods to complement the upgrades. nismo sells stuff like that. btw, valve-piston clearance may be an issue with a new cam, sorry I cant tell you the max lift/durat you can run w/out notching anything. oh...porting.

Port the intake side, and the exhaust bring it up to par with the DE heads, which have significantly larger ports.
