O.K. my retarded *** cousin thinks his turbo Acura is the fastest thing on the road. He is running a T3/T04 turbo and he tried telling me he has ran 30 pounds on his car. It is fully built and he has a ridiculously huge intercooler, but i just dont think its possible on that turbo and his 440cc injectors. He also tried to tell me he turned the boost up to 40 pounds this weekend and the pressure was so much on his intercooler it just blew one of the endtanks welds apart!:pface Did I mention he lies alot. Just wondering if im the only one who has to deal with dumbasses like this?:D

Is that the one with the big hole cut in the front bumper? The one that ran 10.xx (1/8th mile for you non southern people.. that's slow!) on slicks last thursday? No offense but that guy seems like a tool. And there is no way in hell you will run 30 lbs (or close to it) on 440s with a T04. Maybe 1000's. Do you know what exactly the 'fully built' motor consists of?

And yes, I have to deal with these people fairly often, we do live in Knoxville remember.. :rolleyes

You're right, Knox Dragway, and I go on Thursday.. "Import Night."

I don't go that often, it's mainly just a chance to hang out with a lot of my friends. I never run my car or anything. No point right now.

My pop's has always gone to 411(I’m sure us living in the white house on the hill at the strip helped) and last time I went to 411 Knox drag was rained out even though it didn't rain till 6pm. and well I saw a better crowd from Knox drag show up at 411. So I figured that this week I would check out Knox drag. Cause personaly I think 411 is da ghetto drag strip.

440's spraying straight toluene at 60 psi fuel pressure might get you close to 30 psi...with 4.5/1 compression pistons and...ahhh...how about no.

Here is a video of him at Knox Drag. I don't know what he ran, but I know the car in the left lane ran a 9.4 and beat him. That car is my friend Scott's FD.. it's pretty fast when he's driving it. :D

Meta:

I don't know about you, but I came from my mom. :icesangel Um.. I dunno, I just started reading this forum again recently and noticed some other Knoxville folks. I also discovered there is a guy in Maryville with a fairly heavily modified redtop S13, which was news to me. I didn't think there were any running SR swaps around here. So I guess the moral of this story is that Knoxville 240 owners are popping up everywhere (or Infiniti in your case).

I assume the car with silvia frontend you're referring to is the one done by k-motion.. i didn't know it was done yet. Really nice looking car.

The other guy with SR20 has a primered flat black hatch, is that who you're referring to? His car has almost no mods to my knowledge, it dynoed like 200 whp. The guy in maryville has T3/t4, injectors, blah blah.. probably pushing about 330.

What do you mean, "what did I say?" You even cut and pasted it? IT IS AN ACURA. So what is the question? I would rather have straw rammed in my peehole than be beat by a guy who lies about how badass his ACURA is.

Sorry about the avatar fellas. Glad I got some attention about it. I didn't even think that it would be inappropriate. It was a great pic though. I apologize for the distraction and the last couple of post. I just wanted to bash ACURA a little

So apparently this guy (integra) blew his car up on the dyno today. That's kind of funny.

Wow, I'm suprised the welds blowing on his intercooler didn't save him...isn't that like a back up failsafe system for high boost? Or the welds on the intake mani...those should have blown for sure.

Yeah. It's the only place in town with a dyno, so we don't know if it's good or not. ;) There have been a couple cars that blew up there though. A corvette sprayed oil all over the wall and stuff, very messy. :o

He said he ran it up to 8 grand (redline) and he usually only took it to 7.. I imagine he just ran out of fuel.

Dont know if he blew it up on the dyno if he did he hasnt told me (integra) Said he blew the endtank off from running 40 pounds of boost though. ( Thats the biggest crock of **** ive ever heard) Why do people have to lie like that? Anyways does anybody in the knoxville area know john with the s14 ka-t?

If that really happened to his intercooler (i dont know i havent seen it) all i can say is that whoever welded the endtanks on his core did a really ****ty job.
