My brand new Garrett GT2871R .86 A/R and Blitz SBC boost controller will be here tomorrow!! UPS is requiring a signature, luckily its my day off so i'll be home pacing all day. I just bought a rake from Home Depot to rake the leaves in the front yard tomorrow since i'll be going 90 miles an hour until it gets here. Im sooooo excited!!!

BTW, i went with the .86 A/R over the .64 because i wanted it to boost a little later in the RPMs and make more overall power, mostly so i can putter around town and not be boosting so much. It should still be quite a beast!!

Well this turbo will be repacing the cheap $400 China made eBay GT28R that i just blew up. I bought that one a year ago to get me out of a jam (i couldnt afford anything else), so i guess im ok that it lasted a year.

Current mods to the car include ACL Calico coated main and rod bearings, ARP main and head studs, Cometic MLS head gasket, deleted and plugged secondary throttle plates, 550cc injectors, Z32 MAF, socketed and chipped ECU, XS Power FMIC and tubular exhaust manifold, Megan turbo elbow and 3" downpipe and test pipe, HKS R2 Sport exhaust (its only 2 1/2", but looks stock and is super quiet!!). I was pushing 16lbs of boost on that china turbo and she was pretty friggin fast.

Of course i have some suspension like Eibach sportline springs, KYB GR2 struts, Nismo power brace, JIC Magic rear upper control arms and tension control arms, Whiteline sway bars, SPL rear subframe spacers, Cusco CA-specific strut brace, i forgot who makes the C pillar brace and the rear strut brace.

Oh and i should mention that i also have working power steering, working air conditioning, and working cruise control! Eat your hearts out!!
