im new to this page, and have a question about clutch work

i have a 93 altima, the clutch is starting to act up, i have to pump it to get it in gear and it goes through fluid like crazy, sometimes it goes straight to the floor with no pressure at all and the reservoir is dry, any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated before i pay alot of money i dont have to thanks.

With that much fluid missing you should have a tell tale leak under the car. My "guess" would be the slave cylinder is leaking .... The master cylinder has the fluid reservoir attached to it, fluid goes through a hose & then to the slave cylinder that actuates the clutch.
