Whats up people! I'm new here i just bought a brand spanking new Sentra Se-r Spec V two fridays ago. I traded my 06 Tiburon Se for it and I'm not missing my old car a bit. These cars are so much fun. But I was wondering if any of you have had any difficulties with your cars yet because I went to the dealership today because my car wouldn't stop locking its own doors. Like constantly locking on its own. The service guys said he needed to order a new lock actuator for it but its under warranty so its all good. So just wondering... any probs?

Welcome! Nice upgrade to a sentra. For the door locks issue, are they locking on its own at random times or when you put in gear or something? The sentra moderator will chime in here soon. I'm sure he can answer this.

We have a B16 owner and Nissan Tech on staff, I'll see if I can alert him to this thread. That's a really strange issue, and this is the first I've heard of it. The service tech is probably right, that would certainly make sense.

B15s (2000-06) had bad window regulators that had very short lifespans (mine have lasted only a few years and are again starting to show signs of imminent failure), for instance.

Sorry it took so long to reply. Its totally random like i can be driving down the highway or sitting in my car eating lunch at work. Pretty weird....
