im new here, quick HP gains for 86 300zx?

i have an 86 300zx, i currently have no motor in it because it being blown or a few other problems. i want to replace my motor with a lower mileage VG30 n/a. does anyone have any suggestions on quick HP gains with out doing a swap?thanks

Depending on how mechanically inclined you are, you can take your N/A engine and put all of the Z31 turbo parts on it. Look at the other thread about the guys 89 z that he just picked up.

If that is something you dont feel like trying, there is always N2o.

You could always got with the quick basic mods; intakes and exhausts.

the problem with the basic intake exhaust, is taht they yield little power, don't get me wrong they help to take advantage of other mods as well but intake and exhaust combined does very little, and once you do a turbo swap the potential grows exponentially
