Im New Here And Im Having ENGINE probs HELPP !! :O

so i was driving my s13 and my oil cap was loose for some odd reason... and came off. engine spilled everywhere, and it took me about 15-20mins to notice so its smoking white smoke cause oil was hitting headers and mani. i was trying to get to my friends house because i noticed my car was starting to over heat, i plugged up the oil thing with a hankerchief. As i got on the free way and gave it gas i heard a knocking sound. i towed my car home, so this is where it gets wierd. i get home park it (still knocking), i wake up and mom and pop want me to move it so i do and tehres no knocking.... it felt good. and well im kinda tripping out.so can anyone give me some advice of what to do?

p.s. my friend said its a spun bearing in da block.

I had that same problem with low oil, once i topped it up, it was all good.

so you think itd just need oil? cause i was thinking of doing a sr swap but i need to find a shop in riverside area who does it cheap

if u did run it low on oil there it is a pretty good posability it did spin a rod bearing. and if thats the case time for a rebuild.

if it drives just say f*** it and go til it blows. its a ka, finding one is like finding Gonorrhea in a back alley at 4 in the morning.

Stay on top of the oil level and you will be fine.

DIAF. KILL NO MORE KA's!!! They are good motors with tons of potential! Take care of yours or sell it in good condition to someone that wants to turbo it.

The SR fanboy mentality is actually causing KA replacement motors to start to run low.
