im lost

i am in the process of swapping my blown ka to a sr20det red top but im haveing trouble it will start but it will run for like 2 secs and die it seems to be dumpin way to much fuel i think it might be the maf but i could be completely wrong has any had this problem and maybe can throw me a life line any help would be to the amazingness

Have you tried unplugging the maf and starting it?

no i havent tried that will that reset it

Kinda, if i remember correctly it will make the ECU run off a pseudo signal, basically it will ignore the MAF and run off a base setting.

Don't quote me here as my car does not have a MAF anymore, but its something easy to try.

well i will give it a go this is new to me im used to classic chevys but i love my 240 and wanted to give something new but its kicking my butt lol but thanks for the help man
