im looking to swap a sr20 in my 96 240sx. 1 little problem!

i dont know of any place near where i live that can do it for me. I dont have time to do it myself and if i did, it would take forever! im looking for a place in the Oklahoma city area. Im willing to go to dallas or anywhere within that distance. if anyone has any insight id appreciate it. If anything ill just wait and do it myself but id like to do it before the end of the year....thanks again!!!

best bet would be too make some friends here or meet fellow 240sx owners in your area and have them help you out. better off taking your time with it then trusting some shop to swap everything over.

jsturge is right, I've heard many a horror story from shops installing motors. Anything from wiring being just plain wrong, to water damage due to the shops lack of care. Besides there's a great feeling of self gratification after you and a few buddies set out and accomplish a motor install. Not saying the shops around you would do you wrong or anything, just this day and time you never really know...

I'm not sure where you are in OK, but here in Dallas there's plenty of shops that can do SR swaps in their sleep for reasonable prices. Hit up NICO's Regional section or find a local forum for recommendations. Not everybody has the time or resources to do a swap on their own. Nothing wrong with having your swap professionally done right the first time with a guarantee on the work.

im in Oklahoma city. i know of Tay's auto that does swaps. i havent been to dallas in a couple years tho. ill take a look at the local forums
